Family Date Night!

Every Friday Dave and I "try" to have a date night. This Friday we thought we'd mix it up a little and go to a drive-in movie together as a family (yes, even Lilly!). It was fitting that the movie we saw was "Date Night" :) We had the best time & Max was such a good boy too! I think he thought it was pretty cool :)

Hogle Zoo

Yesterday we spent the day at the Hogle Zoo.
Max liked looking at the animals.
He especially liked riding on the merry-go-round, feeding the ducks and the riding the train!
My favorite was the cute baby elephant :)

Dinosaur Park

Thursday afternoon we met up with Ali, Belle, Emmy & their friends at the
Ogden Dinosaur Park!I think Max & Emmy had the most fun playing in the sand than anything else!

Treehouse Museum

We just got Max a membership to the Ogden Treehouse Children's Museum. Dave & I took him for the first time on Wednesday.
He LOVED it!
I LOVE it too because it gives us something fun to do during the day...plus it is so much fun to watch him play & explore!
{This bridge was one of the first things Max went to..he was too afraid to walk accross it so he would crawl. He spent a good 15-20 minutes just crawling back and forth accross the bridge!}
{This sheep moves it's head and makes noises which made Max a little nervous!}

Birthday Boy!

1 year ago... One year ago I held my little boy in my arms for the first time. It's really hard to believe it's been 1 yr. since my angel came into this world. Max truly has been such a joy to me and I could not have asked for a sweeter baby. He has grown and developed so much over the past year! It's been incredible to watch his sweet little personality emerge and develop! Max has brought so much love and happiness into my life. We have such a special bond and I love him with all of my heart. I feel so blessed to be his mother.
I thought I would start a fun tradition in our family to have a "No Utensils Allowed Spaghetti Dinner" on each of our children's 1st Birthday!
So I covered our table with a plastic table cloth, dumped a pile of spaghetti & meatballs in the middle and we had at it!
It was so much fun & Max LOVED it :)

{Max was so happy when we sang Happy Birthday to him! Look at that cute smile!}{Yummy icecream cake!}{Haha-I love this face!}
